I am involved in a variety of projects aimed at improving student life on campus while developing my engineering and problem-solving skills through both administrative involvement and hands-on engineering work.

College Application
A student-built mobile app designed to centralize events, resources, and tools, all in one place. Created to modernize the current college student experience.

The goal is to present it to Gustavus Technology Services by July 1, run testing over the summer, and be ready for a full-scale launch on September 3, the first day of classes.
Asteroid mining Paper + Simulator
The future of mining is off-planet. I’m writing a review paper on asteroid mining, which will serve as the foundation for building a simulator that allows others to experiment with their own ideas.

The goal is to complete the paper by July 10 and finish the simulator by August 1.
College Community Inititiative
Designing sustainable systems through interdepartmental collaboration to improve shared decision-making between students and administration, and to strengthen student belonging on campus.
​
The committee is currently being formed, with our first meeting scheduled for early July.
Sustainability Farm
Transform Gustavus’s Big Hill Farm into a space where students and faculty can see sustainability in engineering, learn from it, and get inspired. Past, present, and future Gusties should be able to walk through this space and feel the impact of thoughtful engineering decisions.

The goal is to complete the project by July 15.
Active Galactic Nuclei Research
Investigating relativistic jets from Active Galactic Nuclei through MHD simulations and observational modeling.
This research is being conducted over the summer of 2025.
Online College Model
Designing and implementing an addition to the current college model focused on real-world applications of learned material. This will be achieved through mentorship, presentations, and company tours.

The goal is to roll it out on September 3.
Student Advocacy Systems
Working with administration and Student Senate to advocate for and support student ideas. This includes my roles as Finance Director of Student Senate, Student AI Representative, and Research Conference planner and coordinator.
